Drive Change in a Complex, Evolving Ecosystem

Before joining LIFULL Connect, I had already worked with them from the client side. I thought I knew their product and their teams. But I quickly realized that being on the inside is a whole different story.

This has been without a doubt, the most challenging environment I have ever worked in. It is also the first time that I am the only person leading the entire EMEA talent org. A highly complex business model, very senior tech profiles, constant scope evolution from market requirements, and to cap it all: a significant amount of legacy code meant that recruitment needed to be sharp and strategic.

On top of that, some client expectations are blurred and as often happens, not everyone involved along the path owns that part. But through collaboration, empathy, and a very much long-term growth for the team, we achieved incredible hiring progress (27 hires in one year). We've revamped how we attract and invite the talent in a company that goes through acquisition and never slows down.

We've implemented a new ATS that integrates with our HRIS, we've improved the onboarding process and (like the long-standing processes), we've crafted hiring best practices manuals, and we've held many meetings to properly align hiring managers' expectations with market reality. Wow, it's been a challenge! But I've met people with lots of experience who have taught me to think differently, to rethink solutions, and more importantly: to be patient.
