Resilience, Growth, and New Adventures

Coming back to Madrid — new team, new scenery, new impact. Just as I arrived COVID-19 started, so everything changed overnight. I completed my entire onboarding remotely and stayed resilient through the lockdowns.

That's when my role evolved: I spearheaded a (hybrid) recruiting setup to grow a new product and support the business as it scaled. The team was small but mighty, and we worked closely with hiring managers to refine the process. There was no time for comfort — we had to deliver results, and the metrics were the only real and useful way to paint a picture of it.

Over a year and a half, I helped build product and sales teams from scratch, reducing time-to-hire and improving the candidate experience. We also achieved strong NPS ratings from candidates and managers. The experience taught me the value of adaptability, data-driven decision making, and the importance of team collaboration. Sadly, after Packlink was acquired by a global company, my role was no longer needed — but I walked out satisfied for another smart venture.
